From Our Participants
“The experience was truly eye-opening, bringing a profound sense of purpose to my role as a coach and giving me a glimpse of the growth journey I am embarking on – one that extends beyond any challenges I’ve faced before. She provided supervision with such patience, kindness, and dedication, guiding me through a challenging and complex situation that was entirely new to me at the time.”

“Your thoughtful examination of my reflective practice and gentle questioning around both the process and structure I follow and using that to lead to the insights (i.e. benefits) I have received from such reflections was really positive. That space really allowed me to further develop my coaching skills.”

FAQ
What is coaching supervision?
Coaching supervision acts as a compass for professional coaches. It keeps you on course when working with complex situations and supports your ongoing development through structured reflection and professional dialogue. By engaging in coaching supervision, you sharpen your skills, recognise patterns, and strengthen your professional judgement.
Supervision stands for:
- Experienced, present guidance grounded in professional clarity
- Sparring for complex coaching situations
- Ongoing development of your coaching practice
Who is coaching supervision for?
Coaching supervision is designed for practising coaches across approaches (systemic, Agile, OKR, Gestalt, solution-focused coaching, to name a few) who are keen to maintain high professional standards and develop their competence. It is not about control, but rather guided reflection on your own practice, exploring challenging cases, unclear roles, and ethical or professional questions, while also supporting stress management, well-being, and burnout prevention.
It is also valuable for coaching training and development programmes, helping to enhance programme quality, support coaches in training and experienced coaches, and to meet recognised professional standards such as those of the ICF and EMCC.
How is supervision different from mentor coaching or further training?
Mentor coaching focuses on competencies and performance feedback. Further training builds new skills. Supervision does something different: it creates space to reflect on real cases, ethical questions, role clarity and your lived experience as a coach. It strengthens professional judgement, deepening how you think and who you are as a practitioner.
